NIT Jalandhar Latest Updates & Announcements 2025

• JoSAA 2025 Round 4 Seat Allotment has been released. Candidates must complete online reporting and fee payment by July 9, 2025. The Round 5 Seat Allotment result will be announced on July 11, 2025.

• JEE Main Cutoff 2025 (Round 4) for B.Tech programs at NIT Jalandhar for the General category ranges between 10,232 to 50,828.

• Applications are open for PhD (Full-Time) under the Visvesvaraya Scheme Phase-II, Round-II. The last date to apply is July 13, 2025, and the presentation round will be conducted on July 18, 2025.

• GATE Cutoff 2025 (Round 3) for M.Tech programs at NIT Jalandhar for the General category is in the range of 355 to 565.

• CCMN Cutoff 2025 (Round 3) for M.Sc programs lies between 1134 to 1459 for General category applicants.

• The UG Fee Structure for 2025-26 has been published. The academic fee for B.Tech and other undergraduate programs is approximately ₹1.64 lakhs per year.

• For PG programs, the academic fee structure for 2025–26 ranges between ₹54,000 to ₹1.49 lakhs per year.

• The Doctorate program fee structure for the 2025–26 academic session has also been released. The annual academic fee is ₹54,000.

• Admissions are open for M.Tech in Textile Technology for the 2025 session. The last date to apply is July 22, 2025.

• NIT Jalandhar is accepting applications for its 4-Year Integrated B.Sc.-B.Ed. program. The application deadline is July 27, 2025.

• The institute has also released the Mess Fee Structure for B.Tech and B.Sc.-B.Ed. students. The annual mess fee ranges from ₹50,000 to ₹60,000.

Dr. B.R. Ambedkar National Institute of Technology (NIT Jalandhar), established in 1987, is an autonomous technical institute located in Jalandhar, Punjab. In the QS Asia University Rankings 2025, NITJ has been placed in the 661–680 band among Asian universities. In the NIRF 2024 rankings, the institute secured the 58th position in the engineering category.
